Removable piece of wood that is positioned on a stump
attached directly to the bag. This piece allows to breathe
the air in the bag.
It is considered a consumable, i.e. it wears out
and must be replaced. The wear is due to the fact that it is blocked
between the teeth to keep it in the mouth. This is also what
explains that, on old bohas, this piece is never
decorated with pewter
Nowadays, to avoid this we reinforce the end with a horn tip
(or other: PVC ...) which will be the only part to replace in case of wear.
To prevent the blown air from escaping through this same room,
when the bag is pressed, it has a non-return valve.
On old bohas it is a piece of leather.
