DESCRIPTION

Piece of wood attached directly to the bag. It is intended to receive the pihet,
reeds side, by a female type housing. This accommodation must be sufficiently
deep
and wide to accommodate the two reeds and allow them to
work without problems.

It is often in fruit wood and supports pewter decorations or engravings.

On old bohas, fixation is carried out by means of an external ligature
(cf. technical sheet - ligatures).
